The ugliest thing about this house was the faded yellow aluminum siding, which was barely hanging on by a thread in some spots. We knew it had good bones underneath but replacing or repairing the original clapboard would have been costly and impractical for an investment property. So we piped in cellulose insulation and covered the clapboard with vinyl.
